He was shocked to see her in distress, looking pale and weak, leaning on support as if without it she would pass out at any moment. What had happened to her ? His thoughts came on halt when she spoke
"Stay away from me," she repeated in a breathy voice, pulling the slide back on the semi-automatic pistol.
"Ms. Rajvanshi, see, I am Mr. Rathore, Abhimanyu, Avantika's brother," He said, throwing his hands in the air.
"Mr. Rathore... please... take me..." she said, and the pistol dropped from her hand.
She had fainted due to the high fever, headache, and lack of a proper meal for days. He picked her up in a bridal style, made her sit in the car, and took her to his penthouse. While driving, he also called a doctor.
He laid her down on the bed and sprinkled some water on her face, but there was no movement. He removed her sandals and coat, then checked her temperature. It was 104 degrees. He panicked and suddenly the doorbell rang.
"Sorry, Doctor Uncle, for disturbing you so late, but it's urgent," he said in a panicked voice.
"It's okay, but where is the patient?" Dr. Suryawanshi asked, giving him an assured look.
"Here," he said, leading him to Shivnya.
"Uncle!" he exclaimed as he saw Raghuveer stunned after seeing her.
"Shiviiii, what happened to her, and how is she here?" Raghuveer asked in a panicked voice, moving closer to her.
"Do you know her?" Abhimanyu asked, but Raghuveer had already started checking her.
"She has a very high fever, which means she might also have a migraine," Raghuveer said. Abhimanyu watched her with pain in his eyes, feeling helpless.
Raghuveer prepared a syringe with some liquid and was about to inject her when Abhimanyu shouted, "Uncle, wait!"
"What?" Raghuveer asked.
"I think she has some medical history," he said while sitting next to her.
"I am her doctor, and I know all about her medical history," Raghuveer remarked sarcastically.
"Oh, okay," Abhimanyu said and held her hand.He injected her with insulin and, after performing some more checks, they both left the room. Throughout the entire time, Abhimanyu either held her hand or watched everything intently, understanding and absorbing the situation.
"Uncle, what happened to her?" he asked once they were in the hall.
"First, tell me where you found her," Raghuveer demanded sternly.
Abhimanyu explained everything.
"Ohhh," Raghuveer said, then continued.
"She has a fever, migraine, weakness, and possibly cold and cough. Her blood pressure and heart rate are elevated, and she hasn't been eating properly for about four days. That's why she fainted."
Abhimanyu felt a different kind of emotion, an uneasy feeling within himself.
"Ohhhh, Uncle, can you tell me something else?" he asked in a demanding tone.
"Yes, what is it?" Raghuveer replied, packing his stuff.
"Rajvanshi once took five pills from two bottles at the same time," Abhimanyu began but was cut off by Raghuveer.
"On the wedding night?" Raghuveer stated clearly
"Yes, how do you know?" Abhimanyu was confused, as he was the only one who had seen her doing that.
"I've warned this girl many times not to take so many pills, but she doesn't listen. I even told Viren to keep an eye on her, but neither of them listens to me," Raghuveer said, anger and disappointment evident in his voice.
"Uncle, please tell me what the pills are for," Abhimanyu interrogated.
"And why do you think I would tell you? Even her family doesn't know about this except for Viren," Raghuveer stated with a smirk.
"Because, Uncle," Abhimanyu began, but for the first time in his life, he was at a loss for words.
"Yes, speak up. I'm listening," Raghuveer said, crossing his legs.
"Uncle, please tell me. I request you. I need to know," Abhimanyu pleaded.
"Depression, anxiety attacks, and panic attacks," Raghuveer said nonchalantly.
"What?" Abhimanyu shouted, stunned to learn that his love was suffering so much without letting anyone know.
"Speak quietly. If she finds out I told you, she won't spare me," Raghuveer said, making him sit quietly.
"Uncle, what happened that she has to take all these medicines?" Abhimanyu asked in a concerned tone, moving closer.
"It's a long story, son, and I don't think it's right to tell it," Raghuveer said, patting his shoulder and starting to leave.
"I know, Uncle, but can you tell me something? Please, Uncle," Abhimanyu Singh Rathore said, pleading. He had never pleaded or said "please" in front of anyone, always ordering people around him. Raghuveer was shocked but came back and sat in front of him.
"Tumhe pata hai, main tumhe bataunga bhi toh bas ek reason ki wajah se," he said, keeping his hand on Abhimanyu's.
( you know why I will tell you because of only one reason )
"Kya?" Abhimanyu asked, curiosity evident in his voice.
( what?? )
"Kyuki tum usse sachha pyaar karte ho aur wo bhi, abhi se nahi, bachpan se," he said with a smile. Abhimanyu was shocked by his statement.
( because you love her truly and not from now, from childhood )
"Yes, you guys were very young at that time. Me, your grandfather, and Viren, we three used to take you all for picnics sometimes. You were probably 8 years old then, and our Shivi would be around 4 years old. Even then, you kept staring at her. I have seen love for her in your eyes since then. You wanted to be friends with her, but she used to run away from you. My kid used to be a happy child but also a silent one."
"But we thought that everything was like a passing cloud, that you both would change. But when I came here and saw that love in your eyes, saw the pain after looking at her in pain, I realized that you still love her," he said with a chuckle.
"Uncle, prrr...." Abhimanyu began to say something but stopped mid-sentence.
( uncle but... )
"Haan, bolo, main sun raha hoon," he said with a nod.
( yes say I am listening )
"Uncle, main toh karta hoon, par wo?" Abhimanyu said in disappointment.
( uncle, I do , but she ???Β )
"Wo nahi karti aur na hi kabhi karegi," he said, holding Abhimanyu's hand firmly.
( she doesn't love you and she will never )
"Kyun?" Abhimanyu was stunned, his heart breaking.
( why??? )
"Shant ho jao, chilla mat," he said calmly.
( keep quiet , don't shout)
"Kyun, uncle? Bataiye na, aisa kya wajah hai jo wo humse pyaar nahi kar sakti? Hum us wajah ko hi khatam kar denge," Abhimanyu asked angrily.
( why uncle ??? please say it , what is the reason that she would never love me?? )
"Kyuki wo kisi aur se pyaar karti hai," he said, breaking Abhimanyu's heart into countless pieces.
( because she loves someone else )
"Kisse?" Abhimanyu asked in a low tone, removing his hand from his hold and turning away, anger simmering in his eyes as his mind raced, thinking of how to destroy that person.
( who? )
"Ek hai. Wo usse school mein mili thi. Bahut pyaara bacha tha. Maine Shivi ko aaj se pehle kabhi itna khush nahi dekha tha. Par zindagi ko kuch aur manzoor tha. Wo ladka coma mein chala gaya jab wo 19 saal ka tha, aur tab se humari Shivi uska intezaar kar rahi hai, ki kab uthega wo aur usse le kar jayega yahan se," he said, reminiscing about the old days.
( There is one. She met him in school. He was very sweet. I had never seen Shivi so happy before. But life wanted something else and more acceptable. That boy went into a coma when he was 19 years old, and since then our Shivi is waiting for him, when will he wake up and take her away from here)
"Kaun hai wo, uncle, aur wo coma mein kaise gaya?" Abhimanyu asked.
( who is he??? And how he went in coma?? )
"Beta, wo din uski zindagi ka sabse manhoos din tha. Aur, ye main tumhe nahi bataunga. Wo tumhe khud batayegi," he said with a hint of anger.
( child that day was a black day in her life, bad I won't tell you, she will tell herself )
"Uncle, aap itne bharose se kaise keh sakte hain? Abhi aapne kaha ki wo kisi aur se pyaar karti hai... toh wo mujhe ye sab kyu batayegi? Jaise hi wo ladka hosh mein aayega, wo toh uske paas chali jayegi," Abhimanyu asked hesitantly.
( uncle gow can you have so much faith that she will tell me?? She is in live with someone else... As soon as the boy will get in consciousness she will leave me and go to him )
"Apne dil par haath rakh kar batao, use tum jaane doge apne se door?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.
( keep your hand on your heart and tell me you will let her go )
"Nahi, kabhi nahi," Abhimanyu declared
( no never )
"Kya tumhare dimaag mein ek baar bhi khayal nahi aaya tha uss ladke ko marne ka?" he asked with a grin on his face.
( really you didn't thought even once to kill that boy?? )
"...Nahi... Fine... Aaya tha ye khayal," Abhimanyu said with a groan.
( nooo...... Fine..... I thought that )
He laughed. "Tum dono ek jaise ho. Mujhe toh intezaar rahega, tumhare bachche bhi tum dono jaise hi pagal honge," he said between laughs.
( you both are the same I am waiting for your children, they will be like you only Crazy head )
"Uncle, aap has kaise sakte hain?" Abhimanyu asked, irritated.
( uncle how can you laugh?? )
"Beta, wo bhi kehti hai ki wo usse pyaar karti hai, par asal mein wo nahi karti," he said, holding Abhimanyu's hands, giving him assurance.
( child she only says that she loves him , but in reality she doesn't love him )
"Matlab?" Abhimanyu was confused.
( means?? )
"We have seen her reports and we have told her also. It's just anxious attachment and guilt because of which she thinks she is in love with him," he explained.
"Anxious attachment?"
"Yes, these people who suffer from that usually have an intense fear which may come from childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect. Because of that, when someone demonstrates consistent care and kindness towards them, it can create a sense of safety and comfort. This can lead the person with anxious attachment to feel that the caring individual is a safe haven, someone they can trust and rely on for emotional support. In her case, it is just attachment and guilt that is empowering her to keep him with her," he explained.
"Ohh, but guilt about what?" Abhimanyu countered.
"Meri job yahan khatam hoti hai aur iske aage woh tumhe batayegi," he said.
( my job is over now the rest you have to find it yourself or when she is willingly tell you )
"Ab jao, uska fever kam nahi hua hoga. Uska dhyan rakho aur suno, uska fever aise nahi utrega. Uske liye tumhe cooling method use karna hoga aur usse dawai time par aur khana time se khilana hoga," he said, starting to leave.
( Go now, her fever will not have subsided. Take care of her and listen , his fever will not go away like this. For that you will have to use the cooling method and feed her medicine on time and food on time)
"Ji, uncle."
( yes uncle )
"Beta, apna aur uska dhyaan rakhna," he said and left.
( son please take care of her )
He did not move away from her the whole night. The entire night he was taking care of her, continuously keeping a wet towel on her forehead to reduce the fever.
8:00 AM
"Ahhhhhh..." Shivi's groans echoed in the room as she slowly opened her eyes, wincing against the harsh light.
"Where am I?" Shivnya's voice was strained as she struggled to sit up, her movements labored.
"Rajvanshi," Abhimanyu's voice was calm as he gently assisted her, his touch offering reassurance.
"Abhimanyu," her voice was barely above a whisper as she clung to his hand for support while he arranged the pillows.
"How are you feeling?" Concern laced his words as he lightly touched her forehead to check her temperature. She held onto his hand tightly, seeking comfort.
"How did I end up here?" Confusion etched her features as she surveyed the unfamiliar surroundings, her grip on his hand loosening.
"First, you need to rest," his tone was firm yet gentle as he tucked the quilt around her, urging her to relax.
"No, I'm fine. I need to go to the office," Frustration colored Shivi's voice as she attempted to push away the quilt, determination evident in her gaze.
"Your office can manage without you for one day," Abhimanyu's voice carried authority, his eyes meeting hers with unwavering resolve.
"Ahhh... this headache," She winced, her hands moving to massage her temples, a pained expression crossing her face.
"You need rest," he repeated, his voice softening as he reached out to comfort her, a hint of concern in his eyes.
"How did I get here?" Confusion clouded her thoughts as she searched for answers, her movements slow and deliberate.
First, you need to eat something," He insisted, his tone gentle yet insistent, a hint of worry tugging at the corners of his expression. He began to step away but paused when Shivi's grip tightened on his hand.
"Tell me first," Her voice was tinged with urgency, her eyes pleading for answers as she held onto him desperately.
"Don't force yourself, Rajvanshi. I don't want to make you do anything," He spoke softly, his touch gentle as he carefully extricated his hand from hers, his gaze filled with understanding.
"Ahhh, this pain... my pills. Where are my pills? Give me my pills!" Frustration boiled over as she demanded relief, her voice rising in agitation.
"I know, that's why I'm saying sit here quietly," Abhimanyu's tone remained calm, his words a soothing balm to her frazzled nerves.
"Fine, whatever," She muttered, her frustration evident in the sharpness of her tone, her gaze flickering with irritation.
" Eat this," he handed her a plate.
"What is this?" she asked, still massaging her temples.
"Prodigy ," he said, narrowing his eyes
"I hate it," she stated. (Such a feisty, cute cat of mine, Abhimanyu thought.)
"Okay then, no pills for you," he said with a smirk.
" Fuck you " she agreed reluctantly. (Khadoos,) she thought, as Abhimanyu offered a spoonful of Prodigy .
"I can eat it myself, thank you," she said, but her mouth closed as soon as the food was in it.
"Just open your mouth for the pills or the food," he said, starting to feed her. After a few spoonfuls, she pleaded
Please, I can't eat more. I'll puke," she said with a cute puppy face.
"Okay, okay, fine," he said, setting the bowl aside and taking out the thermometer.
"Let me check your fever," he was about to check when she suddenly ran to the washroom, holding her mouth.
" Rajvanshi," he called, following her. He held her hair back and rubbed her back as she vomited, then helped her to the wash basin to wash her face. He continued to support her and eventually helped her back to bed, tying her hair into a loose ponytail
"My pills," she said weakly
" Rajvanshi, rest. I'll call the doctor," he said, covering her with the quilt.
" Call Dr...." she started to say but was cut off.
" I know, Dr. Raghuveer Suryavanshi," he said and dialed his number.
"How do you know?" she asked. (Oh god, she is sick and still asking me things, he thought.)
"He is our family doctor. Now rest, no more words," he declared
A while later, he came back to the room. "He said you can take pills after having a glass of orange juice," Abhimanyu said.
He made her drink the orange juice and, after a while, gave her the pills."Now you will feel better. Rest for some time," he said and started to leave but stopped when Shivnya said,
" Please stay " She said and abhimanyu gives a nod
She held his hands and snuggled in his arms and after sometime sleep drifted her . After taking an almost 4 hour nap she wakes up , adjusts her eyes with the room's lights and sees Abhimanyu besides her sitting and doing something on laptop while she was just observing him.
" How are you feeling now ? " He asked initially she shocked listening him because he was not even looking at him and he got to know she was awake
" Better " She said while trying with the elbows of her hands to sit .
" Aaram se rajvanshi " He said while helping her .
" What do you wanna have for lunch? " He asked
" Huhhh? "
" I don't know about your preferences...... so tell me and I would cook accordingly that " He said while helping her to getting up from the bed
" Thank you Mr. But I don't need this. I think I should leave " She said with a smile , while removing the quilt from her.
" Firstly you can call me Abhimanyu and Dr. Uncle has specially appointed me for your health " He said with a raised eyebrows he was standing behind her and both of them looking each other from the mirror
" Okay, thank you for your concern but I can manage myself " She said while wearing her coat and adjusting her clothes.
" If you could that , then I wouldn't find you on the middle if the road in an unconscious state " He said while watching her
" Okay... fine.... But now I can manage myself. You don't have to do all this, "she said while patting her hand on his bicep .
" Give these excuse to uncle " Abhimanyu said monotonously following her
" Arghhhhh , fine do whatever you wanna do but don't you dare to enter in my personal life " Shivnya said while going out from the room and abhimanyu gave a nod to her
" Can you tell what happened last last night I barely remember anything " She asked wearing her heels
He explains everything that happened last night but didn't tell the conversation between him and raghuveer.
" Thank you and sorry "
" Sorry for what ? " Abhimanyu asked with a raised eyebrow
" You might got feared to see the gun in my hand but please don't tell about all what happened last night " She said Hesitantly
{ MR. ABHIMANYU SINGH RATHORE }
( THE MOST WANTED MAFIA KING )
Would be afraid of the gun
(sarcasm to be noted)
" Yaah yaah of course "
" Where is my gun then ? " She interrogated
" In your car safely " He said while following her
" And my phone "
" In your car only " He replied
" Shitttt ayansh would have call be a million time then " She said and now they were in the parking lot
" Yeah, so you were not at the party because of your health ?? " He said and passed her the keys of the car and she gave a nod to him
" Thanks for helping me " She said and left from there

Upon learning of shivnya's health concerns, I felt a profound dismay at the stark disconnect between her professional success and personal struggles. Understanding her battles with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks has shed a harsh light on recent events. Despite her feelings for another, I am deeply troubled by the impact this situation has on her well-being. Though I harbor thoughts of retribution against this individual, circumstances have already rendered them incapacitated.
Shivnya's psychological turmoil, compounded by her misguided affection for him, necessitates a delicate approach to ensure her well-being and a true understanding of genuine love. Rest assured, I am committed to supporting her, whether through mutual consent or gentle guidance.
When she woke up with a headache, she uttered my name for the first time, a sound that sent a jolt through me. Hearing my name from her lips, the person I cherish most, was unexpectedly pleasing. She addresses me by my name, clasps my hand, places her trust in me, and employs her endearing puppy expression to sway my decisions. These gestures are so captivating that they compel me to shower her with affection until our final breaths.
She implored me to stay by her side, nestled in my embrace, and drifted off to sleep. As she lay there, resembling a sweet yet determined child seeking solace in my arms, her unruly hair gently caressed her partially hidden face. I gazed upon her with silent admiration, my heart swelling with a tender, protective love. In that moment, I vowed to be her unwavering support, her rock, and her sanctuary.

Upon regaining consciousness, I found myself in a different room, meeting the gaze of a person with dark eyes that instantly instilled a sense of trust within me. Despite a severe headache and fragmented memories from the previous night, Abhimanyu assisted me in standing up, prompting questions as to why he was helping me and why I was allowing it. Despite my inner conflict, his nurturing demeanor evoked feelings of safety and comfort, unlike anything I have experienced before, even in the presence of Advait. These conflicting emotions led to a sense of vulnerability and dependence that I have longed for but never truly encountered.
Questions regarding his intentions arose, only to be alleviated by the validation of Uncle's approval, indicating a sense of security in his presence that was difficult to dispute. He assisted me with various tasks, such as managing my unruly hair and soothing my nausea, handling my outbursts with unwavering patience. While he fed me, I found solace in his deep eyes, as if they held the promise of protection and care.
The quiet moments between us were not uncomfortable; instead, they were peaceful, a stark contrast to the turmoil within me. Why do I feel this way? Why am I developing these emotions for him? This sensation never arose when spending time with Advait. The desire to yield myself to him is perplexing and unsettling. However, I must remain focused on my work, seeking revenge, supporting Advait, and taking care of my family. Yet, in the quiet moments, I can't help but wonder if, perhaps, this newfound sense of safety and affection could be a path to healing.
