CHAPTER 35

ABHIMANYU'S POV

Shivnya gently removed my hands from her belly, her touch lingering like a whisper. She started to walk down the road, her laughter mingling with the breeze. "Abhi, look at how beautiful the weather is, isn't it?" she said, her eyes reflecting the serenity of the sky.

I followed her, my smile masking the concern and confusion swirling in my mind. "Of course, jaan, but where are you going?" I asked, unable to resist her infectious enthusiasm.

"Come on, let's enjoy," she said, breaking into a playful run on the empty road. Her spirit was free, and I couldn't help but be captivated. Quickening my pace to match hers, I called out, "Jaan, we'll enjoy, but come here first."

Finally, I reached her and gently held her wrist. She turned to me, her smile radiant and full of mischief, pointing towards a nearby stall. "Abhi, look!"

I was puzzled and asked, "What is it?"

"Barf ka golla!" she exclaimed, her excitement lighting up her face. I looked at her in disbelief, marveling at how different we were. She loved street food, a world I had always avoided. "Jaan, no, not at all," I said, trying to dissuade her.

( snow cone )

She flashed her irresistible toothy grin and insisted, "Yes!" I shook my head, but she nodded with determination. I shook my head again, hoping to make her understand, but she only nodded more emphatically. Finally, I spoke, breaking the silence, "Baby, firstly, it's unhygienic, and secondly, it's cold. You'll catch a cold, then it will turn into a fever, and you won't drink the kaadha. Moreover, you'll have to suff-"

I looked up to find her gone, my heart skipping a beat. I scanned the area and saw her by the stall, waving her hand excitedly. "Abhi, which flavor would you like?" she shouted.

I was stunned by her spontaneity. I adored my wife and her playful nature, but sometimes managing my baby and her whims was a challenge. I ran to her, saying in disbelief, "Jaan, I told you not to eat it."

She looked up at me with her big, doe-like hazel brown eyes and pouted. She knew this always melted my heart, and she used it to her advantage. "But you always say it's good to break the rules sometimes, so let's break the rule entirely today," she said, her eyes twinkling with mischief. I sighed, knowing I couldn't resist her. "But love..."

Before I could finish, she had already taken the ice ball and started to savor it, her lips wrapping around it in a way that made my thoughts drift ( how wide her mouth would open to suck that ice ball how perfect her lips would look when her lips would on my length she would suck my balls and length like a good baby ) . She interrupted my reverie by holding the ice ball in front of my mouth. "Eat it, it's yummy. You'll enjoy it," she urged.

I took a bite, unable to refuse her. Turning to the bodyguard, I ordered, "Bring my shawl." The bodyguards, ever discreet, were bowed standing nearby. One of them quickly fetched the shawl.

I wrapped it around my beloved wifey , ensuring she was warm. She pouted adorably, "Abhi, it's not that cold."

I looked at her with a mixture of love and concern, "I know, but I can't take any risks with you. We should take precautions." As we walked down the road, she continued to savor the ice ball. My thoughts wandered, longing to replace the ice ball with a kiss and suck her lips like she is sucking that ice ball , but for now, this moment of playful love was enough.

ABHIMANYU'S POV

As I walked ahead and turned left, I looked for Abhimanyu but couldn't see him. Confused, I turned back and found him standing still, gazing at me with a soft smile. My heart fluttered as I walked toward him and asked, "Kya hua, aap ruk kyu gaye?"

( what happened why you stopped )

He hesitated, his eyes filled with an unspoken emotion. "Shivu, there's something I've wanted to confess to you for a long time."

I moved closer, my curiosity piqued, and whispered, "Yes say na."

His expression turned serious, almost guilty. "Promise me that if you don't like my confession, you won't distance yourself or behave differently."

His words sent a wave of panic through me. The thought of losing him was unbearable. Interrupting him, I said, "What are you saying? Just say it." The bodyguards, standing a respectful distance away, lowered their heads, giving us privacy. Abhimanyu, nervous, repeated, "First, promise you won't do any of those things and will stay the same."

I could no longer contain my anxiety. Grabbing his collar, I pulled him closer, feeling the warmth of his breath on my face. "Abhi, speak up. What happened?"

Our eyes locked, and I saw a softness in his gaze that made my heart race. He whispered, "Jaan, first promise me."

Desperation filled my voice as I assured him, "I promise I won't behave differently, but now say it, please."

He took a deep breath, his eyes glistening with vulnerability. "Shivu, I... I love you."

The world seemed to stop. Tears welled up in my eyes, and without thinking, I threw my arms around him, crying into his chest. "I love you too," I sobbed.

He held me tightly, rubbing my back soothingly. "What happened?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

I pulled back slightly, just enough to look into his eyes, and said, "I thought you were going to leave me. I was so scared."

He cupped my face tenderly, wiping away my tears with his thumbs. "I'm sorry, jaan, if my confession made you panic. I never meant to scare you."

I slapped his chest lightly in frustration. "Just shut up, you idiot. You made me think something terrible was going to happen."

His eyes softened, and he asked gently, "What did you think?"

Avoiding his gaze, I murmured, "Leave it. It's nothing."

He wouldn't let it go. "Say it, jaan," he urged.

I looked down, my voice barely a whisper. "I thought we were going to separate."

A sad smile crossed his face as he pulled me back into his embrace. "Never, love. I promise I will never leave you."

Feeling the warmth of his love, I asked meekly, "You love me?"

He chuckled softly. "Yes, jaan, I love you."

"Really?" I needed to hear it again, to confirm that this moment was real.

He lifted my chin, making me meet his eyes. "Of course, jaan. I love you from the bottom of my heart. You are the love of my life , Each heartbeat of my heart belongs to you ."

Tears streamed down my face again, but this time they were tears of joy. "You will never leave me?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"Never," he said with unwavering certainty. "I swear on everything you believe, I will never leave you alone."

I nodded, trying to find the words to express my happiness. "I love you too, Abhi. From the moment I met you, I started to believe in love again. You've shown me how to live, how to love. I can't stay away from you for even a second."

His eyes moistened with emotion as he pulled me even closer. "I love you too, my jaan. I can't stay away from you for a second either."

He leaned in to kiss me, but I stopped him, placing my fingers on his lips. "Abhi, we're in the middle of the street. Anyone could see us."

He smiled at my concern. "No one will see."

But I was adamant. "I don't care about my reputation, but I care about yours. Let's go home, and then..."

Understanding, he nodded. "Okay, fine, jaan." He grabbed my wrist, and we walked to the car, our hands intertwined. "Speed up," he ordered the driver, his authoritative tone making me smile.

As we reached home, still holding hands, we were eager to be alone. But as we entered the hall, Dadaji stood there, looking stern. "Abhimanyu, I want to talk to you. Come to the study."

Abhimanyu gave me a reassuring look. "Jaan, you go ahead. I'll be there in a minute." He smiled at me and followed Dadaji, leaving me standing in the hall, confused and worried. Dadaji had never behaved like this before. What could have happened that he wanted to talk to Abhimanyu in the middle of the night? I didn't go to our room but chose to sit in the hall, waiting for him, my heart pounding with a mix of fear and anticipation.

ABHIMANYU'S POV

Finally, I confessed my feelings to my love, and she confessed hers too. Hearing her say those three magical words felt like a dream come true. I always knew she loved me, and perhaps she sensed my love for her as well, but until now, we hadn't spoken the words aloud. In that moment, with my heart pounding and my soul yearning, I just had to tell her.

But seeing the panic in her eyes broke my heart. She thought something terrible was about to happen when all I wanted was to pour out my heart to her. Her fear that I might leave her is something I understand deeply. Her past experiences with love haven't been kind, and it's only natural for her to be cautious. But this time, things will be different. I will stay with her until death, and even death won't separate us.

When I confessed my feelings, I leaned in to kiss her, but she stopped me by placing her fingertips on my lips. The touch of her fingers was both electrifying and seductive, sending shivers down my spine. She stopped me from kissing her because we were in the middle of the street late at night, and she was concerned about my reputation as a king. Her thoughtfulness and care for me only deepened my love for her. She suggested we go home, where we'd have privacy.

I will definitely kiss her tonight. No one will stop me-not in the street, but in the privacy of our home, where she feels comfortable. We quickly made our way to the haveli, our hands intertwined, the anticipation of what was to come making my heart race.

As soon as we entered the haveli, the warmth and familiarity of the place greeted us. I was eager to be alone with her, to hold her and never let go. But just as we stepped into the hall, we encountered Dadaji, who called me to his study in a stern tone. His unexpected request took me by surprise, but I knew I had to address whatever was on his mind.

I turned to Shivu, giving her a reassuring look. "Jaan, you go ahead. I'll be there in a minute," I said with a smile, trying to hide my concern. She nodded, her eyes filled with understanding and support, and walked towards our room.

As I followed Dadaji to the study, my mind was filled with thoughts of her. Her confession, her touch, her love. The way she cared about my reputation, the way she looked at me with those beautiful eyes, full of love and worry. I knew that whatever Dadaji wanted to discuss, I had to get through it quickly so I could return to her.

Entering the study, I steeled myself for the conversation ahead, but my heart remained with Shivu, longing to hold her, to kiss her, to reassure her that my love for her was eternal. Nothing and no one could come between us now.

As I entered the study, Dadaji shot me a sharp look and shouted, "Tumhe pata hai na ki shivnya ki jaan ko khatra hai? Tab bhi tum usse bahar ghumane le gaye. Mana kiya tha na humne? Aur Viren ne ?"

( You know Shivnya’s life is in danger, right? And still, you took her out. Didn’t I forbid it? Didn’t Viren?  )

I knew this confrontation was coming. I was prepared. With full sincerity, I replied, "Haan, Dadaji, par unka bahut maan tha. Hum apni biwi ki itni choti si ichha ka apmaan nahi kar sakte the."

( Yes, Dadaji. But it meant a lot to her. I couldn’t disrespect such a small wish of my wife.)

Dadaji's voice was filled with anger, "Par uski iccha uski zindagi se badhkar nahi hai."

( But her wish is not greater than her life!)

I stepped forward to assure him, "Hume pata hai, Dadaji. Isliye humne pehle hi saari jagah par bodyguards rakh rakhe the. Aur humne khud specially unke face ko cover up karwa rakha tha jisse koi problem na ho."

( I understand, Dadaji. That’s why I had already placed bodyguards everywhere. And I personally ensured her face was covered to avoid any problem.)

He seemed slightly convinced by my words, so I continued, pouring all my sincerity into my voice, "Hum unke pati hain. Hume unki security ke baare mein pata hai. Hum apni zimmedari imandari se nibhate hue aate hain aur ab bhi nibha rahe hain. Humari biwi ki har ek zimmedaari ko hum apne dharam aur kartavya se upar rakhte hain."

( I am her husband. I know how to protect her. I’ve always fulfilled my duty with honesty and continue to do so. Every responsibility of my wife is above my own principles and duties.)

Dadaji sighed and patted my shoulder weakly, "Pata hai, par humne wada kiya tha Viren ko ki hum shivnya ka dhyaan rakhenge. Bas isliye hum dar gaye the."

( I know… but I promised Viren that I’d look after Shivnya. That’s why I panicked.)

I reassured him gently, "Hum samajhte hain aapke dar aur aapki chinta ko. Acha yeh bataiye, kya wo pakda gaya?"

( I understand your fear and concern. But tell me, has he been caught? )

His voice was layered with frustration, as I know how much perfection he likes in this type of work. If this work would have been under him he would have worked nights and days to find that asshole and we would be till now in front of us " Nahi. Viren aur Raghu ne bahut try kiya, but nahi ho paya. Raghu kisi wajah se New York gaya hua hai, par tab bhi waha se try kar raha hai. Par wo aadmi mil hi nahi raha. Pata nahi aisa kaha chup kar baitha hai."

( No. Viren and Raghu tried a lot, but couldn’t catch him. Raghu is in New York for some reason, but even from there he’s trying. Still, that man is nowhere to be found. Don’t know where he’s hiding.)

"Aap tension mat lijiye, Dadaji. Kisi na kisi din wo khud samne aayega, dekh lijiyega," I assured him and left the room. As I stepped out, I saw shivnya sitting on the couch, waiting for me. Her exhaustion was evident after the day's explorations. I walked over to her and said softly, "Humne kaha tha na aapse ki aap kamre mein jaaiye, phir aap. Yaha kya kar rahi hai ?"

( Don’t worry, Dadaji. One day, he will come in front of us himself—you’ll see )

( I told you to go to the room, didn’t I? Then why are you here? )

"Aapka intezaar kar rahi thi. Ab aap aa gaye hain na, chaliye chalte hain kamre mein," she said. We headed to our haveli room, not our usual chamber. Once inside, Shivnya went to the closet to change, and I did the same. As I approached the closet, she suddenly came out, and we bumped into each other. I instinctively pulled her close, our eyes locking. She steadied herself with my bicep, her gaze searching mine.

( I was waiting for you. Now that you’re here, let’s go to the room. )

With a smirk, I asked, "Should we continue the things we left in the middle of the street?"

She looked at me hesitantly, "Abhi, but... we were tired-"

I chuckled softly, "For you, my love, I can't be tired anytime, anywhere. Whenever you want, I am there for you." She doesn't realize just how much I crave her. Her petite frame and those plump pink lips are my greatest indulgence. She is a feast which I can never deny eating from in and out.

"Let's continue," I whispered, lifting her effortlessly. She wrapped her legs around me, and I carried her to the bed. My one hand was on her back and the other hand wrapped around the back , setting her down gently. Her eyes never left mine, filled with a mix of adoration and hesitation. I leaned closer, "Love, whenever you want me to stop, just tell me."

She hummed in response, and as I leaned in, she laid back, her hands resting on my chest. I intertwined our fingers, feeling the softness of her palms, my touch making her shiver under me , her cold palms and my warm palm intertwined with each other . Slowly, she leaned back until she was lying down, our eyes still locked. My smirk grew as I hovered over her, watching the transformation from my mischievous , ordering , and being a cry baby kitten daytime self to this shy, vulnerable version and scared kitten .

Her pinkish plumpy lips, bare and inviting, made her heavy breathing all the more intoxicating. I was drawn to her, the rise and fall of her chest pulling me in. As I leaned in to kiss her, and kept both of her hands in each corner of the bed as she looked nervous. I smirked again, "Don't be nervous, jaan." She closed her eyes tightly, her cool breaths contrasting with the heat of mine, making her shiver.

Just as our lips were about to meet, there was a knock on the door. shivnya's eyes flew open, wide with surprise. She pulled her hands from my hold , stammering, "Who could be at this time?"

The same fucking question echoed in my mind. Who dared to interrupt us now? At this time of hour , My frustration mounted as I wanted to kill whoever that bloody bastard has come to disturb us in our precious moment , as she softly slapped my chest, urging me, "Abhi, go and check who is there."

"Let it be, leave them. Let's continue our work," I insisted, trying to reclaim the moment.

She gave me a look, but I ignored it, trying to resume where we left off. Another knock, followed by a child's voice, shattered our lovely moment. He is really a demon of our love . If not for him being a kid, I'd have been furious enough to deal with him harshly and chopped him off . shivnya, hearing his voice, immediately sat up and pushed me aside. Her concern was evident as she said, in her meeky voice "Go, Abhi, check what happened. Why is he calling me at this time? Did something happen? Is he okay? - "

I sighed, seeing my lovely wife so concerned for that monster and said in a boring tone "Jaan, what could possibly happen to him? His mom and dad are there."

She pushed me off the bed with surprising strength, her tone commanding, "Abhi, I said go and check what happened."
